In the wake of the success of its previous exhibits “Ultra Dentelles!” (2009), “Je rêve!” (2010) and “Primaires!” (2011), Ateliers d’Art de France is holding a new themed show entitled “L’Appartement” in its four Paris premises: L’Atelier, the boutiques Talents Étoile and Talents Opéra, and the gallery Collection.

Visitors will find designer objects created by Tzuri Gueta in the reconstructed living room space at the Talents Etoile boutique. Pillows, lamps and decorative lianas contribute to the effect of a poetic, graphic atmosphere. Don’t miss it!

The latest fashion week, where the upcoming Spring/Summer collections are presented, featured a new collaboration between Tzuri Gueta and fashion designer Stéphane Rolland. With its lyrical, graphic lines and the purity of its chromatic theme, the collection showcased a sculptural look that the embellishments created by Tzuri Gueta set off perfectly. This dazzling collection is as carefully wrought as a musical score.

For this exhibit that brought together designers with a passion for embroidery, Tzuri Gueta created a novel design object – the imprint chair. It is a tribute to bygone days, to the legacy left by a prestigious French craft. The use of a well-known model produced by traditional cabinet-making becomes a pretext for a reinterpretation of embroidery techniques.

Here the principle of utility becomes secondary; the object crosses the boundaries of art and takes on a sculptural dimension. Smooth and soft, silicone hugs the chair’s feminine curves and heightens the comforting quality of varnished wood. Carved wood makes peace with its natural instinct by letting itself be overgrown with poppy flowers. The flowers take root and emerge from the lace pillow, winding delicately around and bursting out. An ode to nature, an object both delicate and surprising.

With his latest collection, Light and Shadow, Tzuri Gueta puts a light twist on fashion trends using the timeless theme of the chain. He creates a subtle but stark esthetic quality that contrasts with the softness of his light, delicate silicone jewelry.

Purity will definitely be the hallmark of the spring/summer 2013 season. The collection will be pared down to only two shades – black and crystal. Distilling the colors in this way will reinforce the effect of brilliance, the ethereal curves, the play of optical illusion and the synergy of materials.

The Arabesques, Lightchain and Entrelacs ranges reflect Tzuri Gueta’s charmed vision of the strict regularity of chains. The usual symmetry is thwarted, while the line vibrates and becomes haphazard.

The shop windows of the Tzuri Gueta Gallery are in the Christmas spirit. This year, in addition to a stunning selection of jewelry, the designer has come out with a boxed gift perfect for putting under the tree – a collection of 12 signed and numbered photos entitled Tzuri Gueta Seen by Hector Olguin.

Photographer Hector Olguin focuses his camera on Gueta’s sense of creativity, giving a fresh interpretation to Gueta’s work. This original project is a vibrant tribute marked by the complicity of two artists with a love for the wild and sensual esthetic sense.

In support of the endowment fund launched by Ateliers de Paris – a public entity which actively helps young Parisian designers – the Home Sweet Home Bensimon boutique in the trendy Marais district has decided to carry a select number of pieces made by designers from different artistic fields. Tzuri Gueta’s Bollywood pillows feature prominently in this boutique with a reputation for being at the vanguard of the latest trends.

Futuro Textile

Created to mark the inauguration of the Europeen Center for Innovative Textile (CETI), the third Futurotextile exhibition focuses on the finest innovations in textiles, giving visitors a viewpoint that is as technological as it is creative.

Pride of place is naturally  reserved for tzuri Gueta’s signature siliconized lace in its various creative interpretations : jewelry, textiles and – with the presentation of his perle de pluie light fixture- interior design.
