The Tzuri Gueta workshop was approached in late 2012 to collaborate on the costumes for the French remake of Beauty and the Beast by Christophe Gans with Vincent Cassel and Léa Seydoux. The Victorian-style gowns worn by the character of Beauty required painstaking studies and preparation.

It took 150 hours of work to design the ornaments for the red gown. The pieces of coral running along the neckline, silicone lace embroideries and coral hair accessories were designed in collaboration with the film’s costume designers and hand-made in our Paris workshop.

Our team also produced jewelry to match the white gown, including a pair of earrings that are clearly visible at the beginning of the film.

The team has been nominated in the Cannes Film Festival for the best cinema costumes in 2014
